Is there a Heaven? Is it a real place? What does the Bible say?

Heaven is a real physical place. It is the dwelling place where God has His Throne.

The Bible talks about Heaven, the Heaven of Heavens and the Third Heaven-Ps.19:1.

Where is it located? There is no clear reference, but we have a parallel reference in Ps.48:1-2,

the dwelling place of God on earth. In Ps.11:4 we have the real Heaven, the 3rd Heaven in Ps.14:13.

A real believer longs to be in Heaven one day, like the Apostle-Phil.1:21-24.

Paul had a vision of the 3rd Heaven 2 Cor.12:21-24.

How do we know it is a real place? John14:3-4. Real people, the resurrected saints of God.

What sort of life would we live in Heaven? Rev.21.1-8. Who will be in Heaven? God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Host of Heaven, and the Church, Rev.21:22-27.

Why is God going to create a New Heaven? The present Heaven and earth have been soiled by sin and Satan's rule. God will purge them with fire-Rev 20:11, 2 Pet.3:7-12.

Another word we meet in the Bible for Heaven is Paradise, Luk.23:43. It comes from the Persian language and it gives the meaning of a garden surrounding the king palace.

In Gen.2:8 God planted the garden of eEden and put man in it.
